“My husband and I took our two 6 year old sons for a short hike with Rusty and the llamas out of Capitol Reef Resort. We wanted to let you know how our trip went. Rusty (and the llamas) could not have been more perfect. We followed an interesting and beautiful little route, but the highlight of the trip (aside from the llamas, of course) was Rusty. He was friendly, observant, knowledgeable and obviously really enjoys what he’s doing. This was the single most “touristy” activity of a 2 week trip. Despite the fact that I knew my kids would love the llamas, I was a bit hesitant to sign on for a “guided hike.” We are so glad we did! Rusty was excellent with us, and we saw him out front of the hotel each evening with the llamas, meeting guests and generating interest in the excursions. We are small business owners, and we’d definitely want to recognize an employee or partner who displays this level of motivation, care and enthusiasm each day. We can only hope that our own clients have an experience this positive – and memorable.”

“This was an unreal experience! Dennis and Rusty went above and beyond to deliver everything we expected and then SO much more. The lunch was great and healthy and our doggy traveling companions really made it perfect. Thank you a million times over.”
“Thanks again for an amazing adventure!
We truly had the time of our lives and Dennis and Rusty were awesome hosts. We especially enjoyed having the dogs (Skydog & Dew) with us too – it made us feel like we were really ‘trekking’ legit style. The ability to hike out in that area was particularly unique. Not another person, building, or road in site was true perfection.
The snow made it all even better – our own Machu Picchu afternoon – lol.”
