Our check in time is 4:00pm MST. Our check out time is 11:00am MST.

Please note that early check ins and late check outs generally cannot be accommodated during the Spring/Summer/Fall Seasons and over holiday seasons.

A valid photo ID matching the name on the reservation and intended form of payment must be present at check in. Credit card must match the form of payment provided at the time of booking. As part of our procedures, a waiver is required to be signed at check-in by all guests occupying the room(s).

We require a 1 night deposit at the time of booking. The deposit is fully refundable up to your designated cancellation policy. Package rates, promotional rates, and some dates may require additional deposit(s) or full payment at time of booking.

Our cancellation policies range from 48 hours up to 30 days, dependent on time of year and how your reservation was booked. Promotional rates and package rates may have additional restrictions and may be non-refundable.

We highly recommend purchasing trip insurance to cover any unforeseen trip interruptions. Capitol Reef Resort reserves the right to not provide exemptions from the cancellation policies for medical matters, inclement weather conditions, travel delays or any other unforeseen circumstances. We do not allow pets on our property or in any of our guest rooms. Failure to comply with this policy may result in a $250 fine and/or the forfeiture of your reservation deposit.

We offer pack-n-plays free of charge. A cot is available for $25.00 + tax per night in our Teepees only and subject to availability. We do not offer roll-aways or cots for any other room types.

Our Cabins, Teepees, Conestoga Wagons, Superior Guestrooms, and Suites all offer a view.

Our Teepees and Conestoga Wagons are available from mid/late May through September and typically require at least a 2 night or 3 night minimum stay.

Our Cabins are available year-round and typically require at least a 2 night or 3 night minimum stay from April through September.

There is no “bad” time to visit Capitol Reef National Park. March through June and September through October are typically the busiest times of the year as they offer the best weather. If visiting during these times, we recommend traveling during weekdays for smaller crowds.

Jeep Safaris are available from April 1 through late October. Llama Adventures and Horseback Rides are available from mid-March through late October.

Our seasonal outdoor pool is available early/mid-April through early/mid-October. Exact opening/closing dates for the pool are weather dependent. Our outdoor hot tub is available year-round.
