Conestoga Wagons: Covered Wagon Camping
Covered wagon camping comes to life when you stay in one of our Conestoga Wagons, our most authentic Western accommodations, taking you back in time for an unforgettable experience. Based on authentic 19th Century designs, these luxury and spacious Wagons are water-resistant and sleep up to six guests. Encounter the wild west with natural scenery of the Red Cliffs and relax under the stars while still having access to a private bathroom and all the amenities to relax in modern comfort. From the fire pit to the campground surroundings, covered wagon camping is truly an unforgettable old west style experience for every age!
Conestoga Covered Wagons are not outfitted with TVs
Covered wagons are available seasonally from mid-May through mid-October.
A minimum stay of 2 to 3 nights may be required. Please note that holidays, peak periods, select dates, package rates, and promotional offers may have different or longer minimum stay requirements, and additional restrictions may apply.

Each unit is equipped with a portable cooling unit and a space heater; however, because of the canvas construction, indoor temperatures may fluctuate with outdoor conditions. These accommodations are typically most comfortable during the cooler evening and overnight hours, making them ideal for guests planning to spend their days exploring Capitol Reef National Park.
